5 sundarikal review

5 Sundarikal is a collection of 5 short movies of 30 mins each. These films are directed indipendently by 5 young directors with 5 womens in lead.

1.Sethulakshmi
Director: Shyju Khalid
Cast: Anika, Chethan, Guru Somasundaram
Beginning with Shaiju Khalid's Sethu Lakshmi, This is the first and a best movie amoug 5. Two children are the lead role, both of them perform well with the powerful screenplay. Heart touching direction and visualization makes the movie one of best in '5 Sundarikal'.

2.Esha
Director: Sameer Thahir
Cast: Nivin Pauly, Isha Sharvani
The Second film 'Esha' directed by Sameer Thahir is just OK. Nivin Pauly and Isha Sherwani in the main cast. Esha is a romantic story of a Thief and a girl, who is alone in her house on a new year's eve. The double twist in the end makes the movie watchable.

3.Gowri
Director: Aashiq Abu
Cast: Kavya Madhavan, Biju Menon, Jayasurya, Tini Tom, Rimi Tomy
Kavya Madhavan - Biju Menon starring 'Gowri' is the third film. Gouri is the worst film from the 5S. Story about the relationship between a husband and wife, who had no support or care from Family and relatives. But we can't identify what the film means. a total disappointing movie. The performence from Kavya Madhavan and Rini Tomy makes the scens worst. Film is directed by Ashiq Abu.

4.Kullante Bharya
Director: Amal Neerad
Cast: Dulquer Salman, Muthumani, Reenu Mathews, Jinu Ben
The best film from Amal Neerad, 'Kullante Bharya' steal the show. Dulquar Salman narrate the story of a lovely couples living in a colony. Dulquar Salman perform well, the voice modulation from Dulquar strengthen his charecter. Screen play, direction and the other technical side of the movie done well. This the the BEST film among 5S.

5.Aami
Director : Anwar Rasheed
Cast: Fahadh Faasil, Asmitha Sood, Honey Rose, Vinayakan

Ami - The last episod of the packet, directed by Anwar Rasheed. Ami express the strenght and purity of Hasband - Wife relationship. Fahad Fazil and Ashmitha are the lead role. Both are done thier job well. Honey rose and Vinayakan also serve best. Some comedy events and a good message. totally a feel good movie.

Cinematography and BGM from all movie are upto the starderd or more. Editing is also good. The movie is a expression of our young directors. Except Grouri, 5S is the box of some good films, a good attempt from Amal neerad. Never miss it if you are a film lover.

Singam 2 review

The film start with slow pace, little lagging on the first few minutes, but after some minutes in first half the film entered into the deep. There is not much things special in the first half, but some regular Surya showoff and some nice events. Totally a average first half.

But when the scenes has changed in the second half, the film entered the full pace in the second half Surya's energetic performance make electrify throughout the theater. No special twists and surprise after the smooth moving second half film end with an ordinary climax. Totally the movie wouldn't disappoint you, but the over hype may not give you full satisfaction - an average flick. The songs done by Devi Sri Prasad contribute positive to the movie, all of the songs are good. The Comedy scenes and some good scene makes the movie one time watchable even there is some unwanted scenes make little lag.

Surya done justice to his character, perform well and his energetic presence is the main plus point of the movie, just like a roaring lion. But unlike the Singam, Anushka had nothing to do in Singam 2, she place just for a show as Heroin. The director didn't make better relative to Singam, Singam 2 is just an average only with some unwanted scenes and some dragging moments. The Songs from Devi Sri Prasad goods, Background score is keep ordinary. True to the name Singam 2, the film is dominated by action sequences but there is no blood and gore. Cinematographer Priyan has done a decent job. All other technical side keep stranded level.

-Little Lagging in first minutes of First Half

Verdict:- Comparing to Singam, Singam 2 is not up to expectation. But it still watchable. Just an avarage film. Masala film lover will surely like.
